Officine Piazza: Innovation and Tradition since 1975

Officine Piazza was founded in the 1950s by Francesco Piazza and his wife Irvana. Since 1975, the company has distinguished itself in the gardening sector.

The HANDY brand stands for practical, useful, functional and convenient: with these values, we design and manufacture our products, on the strength of know-how gained from more than 40 years of experience.

Our Headquarters

Located in the northern part of Italy, about an hour from Venice, our company has been a reference point for the production of gardening and agricultural tools for almost 50 years. Starting with our iconic lawn rake, we have expanded our offerings to include a complete range of garden care tools.

The team

At the heart of the company is a balanced team of women and men with technical and commercial skills. Each team member is involved in all stages of product processing, from design to production, from shipping to customer service. We are always ready to offer support and advice.

We are present in several European countries, including Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Greece. In addition, we operate in Turkey, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

FSC® Certification

In 2010, Officine Piazza obtained FSC® certification, which ensures to the correct implementation of the chain of custody. FSC®-labelled handles are produced with wood from responsibly managed forests, with less wood being harvested than the growth capacity of the forest, thus ensuring the perpetuity of the forests.

The objectives of responsible management include:
