SPADES AND SHOVELS

Autumn, winter and early spring are the key times when you prepare the soil for cultivating vegetables or growing a garden: spade and shovel are the mail tools to use.

The sharp blade of the spade sinks into the ground, goes deep and turns the clods, bringing fertile soil to the surface. Here you will find square-bladed and pointed spades, as well as the small spade for light soils and narrow spaces. Choose the spade that best suits your soil.

The rounded shape of the shovel picks up and moves earth, light sand and heavy rubble. Not all shovels are the same: for heavy work you need a construction shovel with a strong, wear-resistant blade. For moving sand and light materials, choose an aluminium shovel, which allows you to work with less effort. The stainless steel shovel is also suitable for use in the food industry.
